When we make the distinction between an individual person’s intelligence or ability to love — and the sense of intelligence or love as something in and of itself, we begin to understand it as a force beyond human control …you’re really pissed, not because he’s a horrible person. You’re pissed because there is something you do that is not in your best interest. The alternate self has to have things its own way, in it’s control, rather than allowing the Divine truth to be in control and opening to it. |
