“… It’s a question of what defines reality and how connected you are with your own sense of reality. In order to not have your sense of reality defined externally by mainstream thought, it’s crucial for you to have an inner sense, an inner connection, a direct personal connection to reality. That’s a part of the evolutionary process. Aligning with mainstream thought, in order to have a sense of what reality is, was important in past eras, when people couldn’t connect with reality from their direct inner source. Then you have to have the consensus, because that’s the only way people had to define reality. But in the evolutionary process, people begin to get stronger and stronger in their own direct connection to reality, and when that happens, you don’t have to be relying on the consensus outside of yourself. In fact it then becomes a very confining thing to do.”
